Organiser Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH under the Indo German Environment Programme on Advisory Services in Environmental Management. GIZ, commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), is invovled in implementing Development Cooperaiton in India.

To share experiences and initiate discussion on climate change adaptation in Industries.

  • Define the concept of adaptation to climate change and know where it derives from

  • Apply a step-by-step approach of assessing vulnerability, identifying adaptation options and selecting adaptation measures to develop and implement a suitable monitoring and evaluation framework

Feedback Section
From the Round Table, I learnt new subject and an approach towards adaption to climate change. The presentations of Dr. Dieter Mutz and Mr. Ronjon Chakrabarti were remarkable. The studies conducted by CEPT and GCPC were eye opening. The panel discussion conducted by Mr. Raghu Babu and specific questions put by him were most appropriate to the occasion.
