The programme covered the topics related to “Planning & Management of Sustainable Pharmaceuticals Industrial Parks/Clusters”, “Environment Management in Pharmaceutical Industries”, “Bulk Drug Manufacturing in India to go Green”, “Ecoprofit in Pharmaceutical Industries”, “Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment, Hazard/Emergency Management”, “Occupational Hazards, Ergonomics & Industrial Hygiene in Pharmaceuticals/Bulk Drug Industry, “Energy Audit in Pharmaceutical Industries”.

Expected results/impacts

Discussions were focused on what roles the participants could play for environment/hazard management in their companies/organizations and what activities/programmes need to taken up, for example with support from DoP, for environment & hazard management in pharmaceuticals & bulk drug industries. The participants were very responsive and the discussions results to listing out useful suggestions.
